Everett Goldson vender tilbage til Notre Dame

QB Everett Goldson udtaler i et interview med TV stationen WPDE at han vil vende tilbage til Notre Dame's football team til foråret. 

"I will be returning in the spring, that's pretty much it. 

I've been working out, keeping my head up. I've had a little adversity, but I've learned you can't sit down and just take that, you got to pick yourself back up and keep going forward and continue doing what you were doing and everything is going to work itself out in the end."

I maj blev Goldson suspenderet af Notre Dame pga. akademiske problemer. Med Goldson tilbage vil det give HC Brian Kelly mere brede på holdets QB position. Kelly har dog udtalt at Senior QB Tommy Rees (18 starts, 34 TD, 24 INT) vil være ND's startende QB næste sæson. Goldson vil først kunne vende tilbage til banen i foråret 2014 da han er suspenderet fra football holdet i efterårs semestret.
